Florian Butollo is a professor of sociology specializing in “Digital Transformation and Work” at Goethe University. He is also an associate researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin, where he led research groups from 2017 to 2024 (“Working with Artificial Intelligence” and “Working in Highly Automated Digital-Hybrid Processes”). From 2018 to 2020, Butollo served as an expert on the German Bundestag’s Enquete Commission on “Artificial Intelligence.” His book "Das knappe Gut Arbeit –Automatisierung, Arbeitskräftemangel und sozialer Konflikt" was published in March 2026.
