Lisa Gürth

Lisa Gürth is a program officer in the Europe & North America Department of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES), where she is responsible for Russia, Belarus, the Baltic States and the South Caucasus. From 2019 until the closure of the Russia office in April 2022, she worked in Moscow and subsequently helped establish the FES’s Russia program from Berlin. Prior to this, she gained professional experience at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels and, as a postgraduate fellow at the German Development Institute (IDOS), worked on this project, which focused, amongst other things, on civil society networking in South Africa and Botswana. She obtained her Master of Science in Economics from the University of Heidelberg.
