Denise Kittelmann is pursuing her Ph.D. in cognitive computational neuroscience at Ruhr University Bochum and Maastricht University with a fellowship from the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung. Her research focuses on how the human brain uses experience to form expectations about future events. In addition to her academic work, she has been actively involved in labor union and sociopolitical causes for many years and serves on the board of the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung.
