Protest Practices and (Artificial) Creativity

It is commonly feared that so-called “artificial intelligence” is about to take over everywhere. But what are the limits of AI? This lightning talk proposes that human creativity in the context of political mobilization and protest cannot be replaced by AI and robotics. Why should AI take to the streets or participate in protest rituals? Wherever protests, protest rituals and gatherings take place, it is the shared presence of the assembled bodies that sets free human creativity and forms of political (street) art: chants, songs, choreographies, or resourceful banners and posters.
