On Parrots and Power: Open AI and the social-ecological Transformation | LABOR.A® 2023

Changes on the basis of "artificial intelligence" have long begun to change working and production processes in many areas. At the same time, a disruptive quantum leap caused by ChatGPT and the like has been the focus of attention. We look at realistic technological leeway and future scenarios and ask: what are the conditions under which the potential of artificial intelligence can be used for the transformation without reinforcing existing power structures and devaluing human labor?
