HUMAN: Call for Participation

Our 2026 theme, HUMAN, puts the spotlight on a key reference point for shaping the work environments of the future. For some things are missing in the current debates: A clear commitment to humanity as the basic tenet of democratic action. The central importance of humane conditions. The potential of human skills and abilities to shape our future, innovation, and happiness. The firm prioritization of the question how decisions impact people – and sometimes humankind as a whole.

We look forward to finding out how you will engage with this theme. Submissions for sessions or lightning talks are now possible! Deadline for submissions is April 13, 2026.

Sessions are LABOR.A®’s discussion format and are 45 minutes long. Audience participation must be facilitated and is included in this time frame. Moreover, a session needs to be submitted and designed jointly by at least two organizations.

Consent to data processing

For submissions of thematic contributions to LABOR.A®, we have prepared two different online forms, depending on the kind of submission. The forms ask for the names and contact information of the contact persons responsible for the submission. We need this data for the selection process and further event organization. The legal basis for processing this data is the (electronic) consent provided on the form in accordance with Article 6 (1a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).
